MISSION IS TO FOSTER THE VISUAL ARTS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND AUSTRALIA.
Program accomplishments
- GENERALLY, THE ORGANIZATION MAKES CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL GRANTS TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE UNDERSTANDING OF THE VISUAL ARTS IN THE UNITED STATES AND AUSTRALIA. THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF AUSTRALIA IS AN AUSTRALIAN GOVERMENT AGENCY AND IS ALSO AN ORGANIZATION DESCRIBED IN 501(C)(3) AND A PUBLICLY SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION. THE GRANTS WERE FOR THE FOLLOWING USES AND PURPOSES, ALL OF WHICH THE BOARD DETERMINED TO BE IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE: TO FOSTER THE VISUAL ARTS IN THE U.S. AND AUSTRALIA. THE OUTPUT FROM THIS PROGRAM IS INTANGIBLE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO COUNT THE NUMBER OF PERSONS BENEFITTED BY GRANTS FOR THE PURPOSES DESCRIBED, IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT OVER TIME THOUSANDS OF PERSONS WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS SUPPORT ON AN ONGOING BASIS.
