Perform high quality master choral and orchestra works
Program accomplishments
- This year the Rhode Island Civic Chorale & Orchestra began its season with the iconic Handel: Messiah, known by many as a cornerstone of the holiday season. It featured 5 soloists who were the winners of our annual Collegiate Vocal Competition. The next concert, Essential Voices, paired well-known names of the past with living composers, furthering efforts to bring new and exciting works to the concert stage. The final concert paired two Requiems from the English composer Herbert Howells and his French contemporary Maurice Durufle.Expenses $107,959
