Mission
THE HISPANIC ALLIANCE SEEKS TO ENHANCE THE HISPANIC CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT COMMUNITY THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PROMISING LATINO STUDENTS, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS, AND ARTS AND CULTURAL EVENTS.
Program accomplishments
- AYUDA- To guarantee the rights of the most vulnerable Hispanic/ Latino families in need through emergency financial information/ referral/ advocacy assistance and services.Scholarships- To provide academic opportunities to students in need.La Latina Network- To promote empowerment of latina women including through organization leadership development, student scholarships, networkig and training.Expenses $169,715
