Mission

The Truckee Trails Foundation (TTF) is working towards a system of trails and bikeways in and around Truckee, California that will connect people and places, reduce our community's dependence on automobiles, and improve our physical, social, and environmental health.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • During the 2024 year, TTF did a significant amount of trail clearing and annual maintenance. This included removing many downed trees that fell over trails during the winter of 2023-24, and maintained approximately 180 miles of existing trails. The final Environmnetal Assessment was signed in March 2024 for the Pines to Mines trail allowing that project to proceed towards construction. Additionally, numerous trails were constructed in the Sawtooth Recreation Area south of Truckee.
