Journey Home supports and empowers community members through education, advocacy, and companioned support.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Outreach: Through our outreach program, we provide direct support to our community, providing items such as clothing, winter and sleeping gear, snacks, beverages, hygiene supplies and vouchers for other local organizations that provide such services. We help individuals with resource navigation for services throughout our county. We have partnered with Max's mission to be a location for the distribution of naloxone and harm reduction supplies.
    Expenses $30,184
  • Peer support: Our organization operates through certified peer supports, community health workers, and trained volunteers to provide holistic support and care that honors the full human experience of living and dying in community. Peer support services are non-clinical, trauma-informed programs where individuals with lived experience use their personal recovery journeys to help others facing similar challenges with mental health or substance use. We also conducted social & emotional mentoring for youth through Kalmiopsis arts high school.
    Expenses $19,587
  • Groups: Our primarily volunteer-led groups foster supportive networks that promote healing and connection. Our groups span a range of ages, life experiences and modalities for healing. In 2025, our groups included Elder Tree (connection and community for older adults), Life Support (emotional skills and support group), Uplift (women's support group), Queer and Allies Game Night, Living with Loss (grief support group) and heARTs Club (healing-centered arts/crafts group).
    Expenses $12,812
