("JBS") IS A DELAWARE NONPROFIT, NONSTOCK CORPORATION FORMED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES TO NAVIGATE PREGNANCY, CHILDBIRTH, AND THE POSTPARTUM EXPERIENCE WITH DIGNITY, AUTONOMY AND AGENCY, IMPROVING MATERNAL HEALTH OUTCOMES, AND ELIMINATING BARRIERS TO ACCESSING HEALTH SERVICES. SPECIFICALLY, JBS ADVANCES THIS MISSION BY PROVIDING FREE VIRTUAL PERINATAL SUPPORT ROOTED IN REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE FOR WOMEN, BIRTHING PEOPLE, AND FAMILIES, TRAINING HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO PROVIDE AFFIRMING, CULTURALLY COMPETENT, BIRTH JUSTICE-ORIENTED CARE, AND ADDRESSING SYSTEMIC BARRIERS TO EQUITABLE MATERNAL HEALTH OUTCOMES AND ACCOUNTABILITY WITHIN HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS.

- GENERAL PROGRAMS - WE PROVIDED DIRECT VIRTUAL SUPPORT TO PREGNANT AND POSTPARTUM INDIVIDUALS, OFFERING GUIDANCE, VIDEO SUPPORT, AND ACCESSIBLE PERINATAL CARE. WE ALSO PROVIDED COMMUNITY-BASED EDUCATIONAL CLASSES ON PREGNANCY AND POSTPARTUM WELLNESS, ENSURING FAMILIES HAD CULTURALLY GROUNDED INFORMATION AND RESOURCES. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDED TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO HEALTH SYSTEMS TO STRENGTHEN THEIR CAPACITY AND CREATED AN ACCOUNTABILITY CURRICULUM AND TOOLKIT THAT CENTERED BIRTH JUSTICE, CULTURAL HUMILITY, AND TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE. OUR VIRTUAL SUPPORT, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES, AND TRAINING TO HEALTH SYSTEMS SERVED 8,464 PEOPLE.Expenses $330,574
