AS THE COMMUNITY'S MARKET, WE WORK TO BUILD A RICH AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT BY SERVING AS A HUB FOR NOURISHMENT, INFORMATION, CONNECTION, BELONGING AND EMPOWERMENT.VISION: WE ENVISION NEIGHBORHOODS WHERE ALL PEOPLE HAVE EASY AND SUSTAINED ACCESS TO HIGH-QUALITY, FRESH, LOCAL, AFFORDABLE AND CULTURALLY DESIRABLE FOODS CLOSE TO THEIR HOMES. - AMM OPERATED 3 MARKETS PER WEEK IN AMHERST IN 2025 AT:UNIVERSITY VILLAGE, WEDNESDAYSCOLONIAL VILLAGE, THURSDAYSEAST HADLEY ROAD BUS STOP, SATURDAYSEACH MARKET INCLUDED A COMBINATION OF PRODUCE PURCHASED AT LOCAL FARMS (EXAMPLES: WARNER FARM; BARDWELL LETTUCES) AND CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE FOODS NOT LOCALLY GROWN, SUCH AS BANANAS AND MANGOES FROM A WHOLESALER IN CHICOPEE. THE AMM OPERATED FOR 21 WEEKS DURING THE SUMMER AND FALL. THE AMM DELIVERED FREE SHARES WORTH $20 EACH OF FRESH PRODUCE FOR 70 QUALIFYING VERY LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. SALES WERE MADE TO ROUGHLY 400 FAMILIES.Expenses $70,091
