THE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN POLAND SEEKS TO BE THE LEADING VOICE FOR INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS IN POLAND, REPRESENTING ITS MEMBER COMPANIES, THE INVESTOR COMMUNITY AT LARGE AND DEMONSTRATING THE POSITIVE ROLE THAT BUSINESS AND COMMERCE PLAY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY AND SOCIETY.
Program accomplishments
- AMCHAM DINER IS ONE OF THE FLAGSHIP INITIATIVES OF THE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN POLAND AND ITS MEMBER COMPANIES. WE ARE PRESENT AT THE LARGEST ECONOMIC EVENTS IN POLAND, SUCH AS THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC CONGRESS IN KATOWICE AND THE ECONOMIC FORUM IN KARPACZ. THE AMCHAM DINER IS A PREMIER SPACE FOR MEETINGS AND DISCUSSIONS, OPEN TO ALL EVENT PARTICIPANTS. IT HIGHLIGHTS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF AMERICAN INVESTMENT IN POLAND AND SERVES AS A VENUE FOR ADDRESSING KEY TOPICS IN TRADE, ECONOMICS, INVESTMENT, AND CRITICAL ISSUES IN POLISH-AMERICAN RELATIONS. THIS PROJECT STANDS OUT FOR ITS BROAD SCOPE OF TOPICS AND ITS UNIQUE ROLE IN FOSTERING DIALOGUE BETWEEN BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENT.
- AMCHAM MANUFACTURERS' FORUM 2024 - THE CONFERENCE FOCUSED ON THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR, EXAMINING THE KEY BARRIERS AND CHALLENGES IT FACES TODAY, AS WELL AS THEIR POTENTIAL IMPACT ON THE INDUSTRY'S FUTURE. DISCUSSIONS COVERED A RANGE OF IMPORTANT TOPICS, INCLUDING THE INVESTMENT CLIMATE IN POLAND AND EUROPE, ENERGY SUPPLY FOR INDUSTRIAL CUSTOMERS, THE EVOLVING REGULATORY LANDSCAPE IN EUROPE, AND VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE INDUSTRY 5.0 REVOLUTION.
- THE AMCHAM PHARMACEUTICAL COMMITTEE IS A PLATFORM THAT BRINGS TOGETHER KEY PLAYERS IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL MARKET IN POLAND. ITS MISSION IS TO FOSTER DIALOGUE AIMED AT IMPROVING THE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT AND ENCOURAGING INVESTMENT IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY, WITH A FOCUS ON PATIENT WELFARE, REGULATORY STABILITY, AND PREDICTABILITY IN BUSINESS OPERATIONS. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY PROMOTING TRANSPARENCY IN THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS AND ENCOURAGING DECISION-MAKING IN CONSULTATION WITH PUBLIC SECTOR PARTNERS. IN 2024, THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMMITTEE CONTINUED TO ADVANCE ITS GOALS BY ORGANIZING CONFERENCES, STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS, AND DISCUSSIONS WITH PUBLIC SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES. IT ALSO COLLABORATED WITH OTHER INDUSTRY BODIES, PREPARED POSITION PAPERS FOR PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS ON LEGISLATIVE ACTS, AND PUBLISHED REPORTS-SUCH AS THE HEALTHY LEGISLATION 5.0 REPORT-ANALYZING THE QUALITY OF LAW-MAKING IN THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR.
