Children Homes of Southern California provides services to chidren and families in transition out of homelessness and poverty.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • For many years, the Organization provided services to children and families transitioning out of homelessness and poverty. In addition, the Organization operated residential facilities for youth in need of assistance and supervision, offering a supportive living environment for at-risk youth. The program provided an average of 950 beds per month across facilities in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County. In 2024, the Organization decided to discontinue the program due to the high cost of operations and damage to rental properties caused by residents. We are currently exploring new opportunities to continue fulfilling our charitable mission, which has guided our work for the past 93 years.
