  • Therapeutic Behavioral Services:Youth Homes offers short-term, intensive, individual, and family-based therapeutic coaching to address severe behavioral challenges that might otherwise result in hospitalization or placement in residential treatment facilities. We serve approximately 80-100 youth annually through this program.Community-Based Services:Youth Homes' direct service providers offer mental and behavioral health support, including individual, family, and group therapy, intensive care coordination, and intensive home-based assistance for youth experiencing trauma and significant behavioral challenges who are at risk of losing housing or school placement. The clinicians, coaches, and behavioral specialists collaborate closely with the youth, adolescents, young adults, and their families or caregivers to ensure they receive appropriate services and support to stabilize their circumstances. Services are available to youth aged 5 through adulthood up to age 26, who have Medi-Cal coverage across Contra Costa County.
