- THE APAHE CONFERENCE WAS HELD ON APRIL 9-11, 2025 IN OAKLAND, CA WITH A RECORD NUMBER OF APPROXIMATELY 1,500 ATTENDEES COMING FROM ACROSS THE NATION. PRE-CONFERENCE SESSIONS WERE HELD ON APRIL 3 AND INCLUDED AN AANAPISI SESSION, LEAP ALUMNI, STUDENT LEADERSHIP SESSION AS WELL AS AN OAKLAND CULTURAL TOUR.Expenses $391,195
- IN ADDITION, WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE 105,500 IN SPONSORSHIPS IN SUPPORT OF THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE AND IN SUPPORT OF STUDENT AND STAFF REGISTRATIONS.Expenses $9,107
- FULL MISSION STATEMENT: ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICANS IN HIGHER EDUCATION IS DEDICATED TO ENHANCING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ASIAN AMERICAN, NATIVE HAWAIIAN, AND PACIFIC ISLANDER (AANHPI) STUDENTS, PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING THE HIRING, RETENTION, TENURING AND ADVANCEMENT OF QUALIFIED AANHPI FACULTY, STAFF AND EXECUTIVES; AND CREATING A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES IN THE PUBLIC AFFECTING THE AANHPI COMMUNITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION.
