FRIENDS OF BOLINAS STINSON BEACH LIBRARIES (FBSBL) GIVES FUNDS TO TWO PUBLIC LIBRARIES AND ONE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARY IN BOLINAS AND STINSON BEACH TO SUPPORT OPERATIONS AND FACILITIES. FBSBL ALSO SUPPORTS LITERARY AND SIMILAR ACTIVITIES IN WEST MARIN.
Program accomplishments
- PROVIDE, MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THE STINSON LIBRARY FACILITIES FOR CHARITABLE, SOCIAL, CIVIC, EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, PROMOTING THE WELFARE AND INTERESTS OF STINSON BEACH, BOLINAS AND NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES. THERE WAS NO RENT COLLECTED OR REPAIRS PAID FOR IN 2024.0
- EXPENDITURES TO PROVIDE DOCENT SPEAKERS, COMMUNITY STORY TELLING AND HOLIDAY PROGRAMS FOR THE BOLINAS AND STINSON BEACH LIBRARIES. THESE ARE PROGRAMS RESEARCHED AND REQUESTED BY THE LIBRARIANS AND STAFF AT EACH RESPECTIVE LIBRARY.
