PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE FIELDS OF ANIMAL TREATMENT AND POPULATION CONTROL
Program accomplishments
- THE ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI ANIMAL RESCUE (SFAAR) ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE HIGH COSTS OF VETERINARY HOSPITALS TO SPAY AND NEUTER THEIR DOGS AND CATS. BY HELPING PEOPLE TO HAVE THEIR PETS SPAYED AND NEUTERED, SFAAR HELPS REDUCE THE NUMBER OF UNWANTED DOG AND CATS IN OUR COMMUNITIES. ANIMAL SHELTERS ARE FULL. A LARGE DOG CAN HAVE A LITTER OF 9 PLUS PUPPIES AND CATS THAT ARE NOT SPAYED HAVE LITTER AFTER LITTER. SHELTERS OFTEN ARE AT CAPACITY AND CANNOT ACCEPT ADDITIONAL DOGS AND CATS. SFAAR'S MISSION IS TO HELP STOP THE SUFFERING ON UNWANTED DOGS AND CATS WHO FO NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN ARE BORN WITHOUT HAVING A FOREVER HOME.Expenses $42,515
