Program accomplishments
- MISSIONS RETREATS: M28 MINISTRIES, INC. IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO EQUIPPING CHILDREN, STUDENTS, COLLEGE LEADERS, AND MINISTRY PARTNERS TO GROW IN THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND TO LIVE AS DISCIPLE-MAKERS IN THEIR CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, AND COMMUNITIES. THROUGHOUT 2025, THE ORGANIZATION FULFILLED ITS MISSION THROUGH RETREATS, CAMPS, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES, AND INTERNATIONAL MISSION PARTNERSHIPS THAT PROVIDED STRUCTURED DISCIPLESHIP ENVIRONMENTS FOR MORE THAN 2,300 YOUTH AND MINISTRY LEADERS. IN JANUARY 2025, M28 MINISTRIES EXPANDED ITS INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH THROUGH A MISSION PARTNERSHIP IN SAN PEDRO SULA, HONDURAS. A TEAM OF 14 TRAINED COLLEGE STUDENT LEADERS AND 3 ADULT LEADERS WORKED ALONGSIDE LOCAL PASTORS AND CHURCHES TO PROVIDE DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING FOR 98 HONDURAN STUDENTS. INSTRUCTION FOCUSED ON BIBLICAL TEACHING RELATED TO CHRISTIAN CHARACTER FORMATION AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH. IN PREPARATION FOR THIS INITIATIVE, M28 MINISTRIES COLLABORATED WITH LOCAL PARTNERS TO TRANSLATE DISCIPLESHIP CURRICULUM INTO SPANISH, ALLOWING THE MATERIALS TO CONTINUE SUPPORTING MINISTRY EFFORTS AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE TRIP. THE EXPERIENCE ALSO STRENGTHENED LEADERSHIP CAPACITY AMONG PARTICIPATING COLLEGE STUDENTS BY PROVIDING CROSS- CULTURAL MINISTRY TRAINING AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES. IN FEBRUARY 2025, M28 MINISTRIES HOSTED ITS ANNUAL WINTER RETREAT, SERVING APPROXIMATELY 200 STUDENTS THROUGH STRUCTURED WORSHIP GATHERINGS, BIBLE TEACHING SESSIONS, AND SMALL-GROUP DISCIPLESHIP EXPERIENCES. THESE RETREATS ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE INTENTIONAL SPACE FOR STUDENTS TO DEEPEN THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF SCRIPTURE, DEVELOP SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES, AND STRENGTHEN THEIR COMMITMENT TO FAITH-CENTERED LIVING. MANY PARTICIPANTS REPORTED MEANINGFUL SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND RENEWED ENGAGEMENT IN THEIR LOCAL CHURCHES FOLLOWING THE RETREAT. IN MARCH 2025, THE ORGANIZATION LAUNCHED ITS FIRST "BASICS OF FAITH" RETREAT FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES 3 THROUGH 6, SERVING 120 PARTICIPANTS. THIS NEW INITIATIVE WAS DEVELOPED TO HELP YOUNGER STUDENTS UNDERSTAND FOUNDATIONAL CHRISTIAN BELIEFS AND IDENTITY IN A SUPPORTIVE, AGE-APPROPRIATE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. TRAINED COLLEGE LEADERS AND ADULT VOLUNTEERS GUIDED STUDENTS THROUGH SCRIPTURE-BASED TEACHING SESSIONS AND SMALL-GROUP DISCUSSIONS THAT ENCOURAGED PERSONAL ENGAGEMENT WITH BIBLICAL TRUTH AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIFELONG FAITH PRACTICES.Expenses $48,669 · revenue $42,358
- SUMMER MINISTRY: SUMMER 2025 MARKED THE LARGEST PROGRAM PARTICIPATION YEAR IN THE ORGANIZATION'S HISTORY. ACROSS FIVE CONSECUTIVE CAMP SESSIONS, M28 MINISTRIES SERVED APPROXIMATELY 1,900 YOUTH AND MINISTRY LEADERS THROUGH MULTI-DAY RESIDENTIAL CAMP EXPERIENCES CENTERED ON BIBLICAL TEACHING, WORSHIP, DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT BREAKOUT SESSIONS. PRIOR TO THE SUMMER PROGRAMS, 25 COLLEGE STAFF MEMBERS COMPLETED EIGHT WEEKS OF STRUCTURED DISCIPLESHIP AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO PREPARE THEM FOR MENTORING ROLES WITH PARTICIPATING STUDENTS. IN ADDITION, MORE THAN 80 VOLUNTEERS SUPPORTED CAMP OPERATIONS THROUGH LOGISTICS COORDINATION, HOSPITALITY, PRAYER SUPPORT, AND MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS. THESE CAMPS PROVIDED STUDENTS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE THEIR FAITH IN GREATER DEPTH WHILE STRENGTHENING THEIR CONNECTION TO THEIR LOCAL CHURCHES AND MINISTRY COMMUNITIES.Expenses $708,593 · revenue $616,706
- YOUTH LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT: LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT REMAINED A CENTRAL EMPHASIS OF M28 MINISTRIES THROUGHOUT 2025. THE COLLEGE DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM CONTINUED TO PROVIDE YEAR-ROUND MENTORING, BIBLE STUDY, TRAINING RETREATS, AND LEADERSHIP FORMATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLEGE-AGED PARTICIPANTS WHO SERVE AS SMALL-GROUP LEADERS AND MENTORS DURING MINISTRY PROGRAMS. THIS INITIATIVE SUPPORTS THE ORGANIZATION'S COMMITMENT TO MULTIPLYING TRAINED LEADERS WHO CAN INVEST IN YOUNGER STUDENTS AND STRENGTHEN DISCIPLESHIP EFFORTS IN PARTNER CHURCHES. IN OCTOBER 2025, M28 MINISTRIES HOSTED A YOUTH LEADERS RENEWAL RETREAT SERVING 16 YOUTH PASTORS AND MINISTRY LEADERS. THIS RETREAT PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPIRITUAL ENCOURAGEMENT, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AND COLLABORATIVE MINISTRY SUPPORT IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN THE EFFECTIVENESS AND SUSTAINABILITY OF STUDENT MINISTRY EFFORTS WITHIN LOCAL CONGREGATIONS. ACROSS ALL PROGRAMS IN 2025, M28 MINISTRIES CONTINUED TO STEWARD FINANCIAL AND VOLUNTEER RESOURCES IN SUPPORT OF ITS MISSION TO PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE DISCIPLESHIP ENVIRONMENTS FOR STUDENTS AND MINISTRY LEADERS. PROGRAM ACTIVITIES EMPHASIZED BIBLICAL LITERACY, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS, AND COLLABORATION WITH CHURCHES AND MINISTRY PARTNERS. THROUGH RETREATS, CAMPS, LEADERSHIP TRAINING, AND INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS, THE ORGANIZATION REMAINED COMMITTED TO EQUIPPING THE NEXT GENERATION WITH THE TOOLS AND SUPPORT NECESSARY FOR LONG-TERM SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND SERVICE.Expenses $2,713 · revenue $2,361
