Mission

Helping communities recylce upcycle and reduce waste

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2023

Program accomplishments

  • Pumpkin Rescue Project: Saved 643 pounds of pumpkins used as decor that would have added to methane pollution and waste. Helped over 30 families without access to composting rehome pumpkins to become animal feed for two local farms.
  • Broken Toy Drive: Over 800 pounds of children's toys were salvaged from local trash and recycled through programs with Terracycle and PCS to ensure resources are saved and pollution is reduced. While collecting toys from local families and thrift stores items scheduled for disposal that were good enough quality to donate were given to families in need with well over 100 families being supported with our collection AND distribution of reusable and recyclable items.
  • Sustainable Craft Workshops: Hands-on craft sessions were hosted at local events play places and daycares to give over 50 families sustainable fun and education with our curated projects made from materials typically discarded. This program added to child development with the process over product concept while also supporting local teachers to get access to ideas for free supplies.
