Mission
FRIENDS OF OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY SCHOOL AND ORPHANAGE HAS THE MISSION OF SUPPORTING OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY SCHOOL AND ORPHANAGE IN MASAKA, UGANDA THROUGH FUNDRAISING AND ADVISEMENT. THE SCHOOL CURRENTLY SUPPORTS 551 STUDENTS, AS WELL AS THE SCHOOL STAFF.
Program accomplishments
- FRIENDS OF OLRS RAISES SUPPORT FOR MONTHLY OPERATING EXPENSES, CAPITAL INITIATIVES, AND SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS FOR STUDENTS. EXAMPLES OF MORE SIGNIFICANT CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS INCLUDE EXPANDING THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE CAMPUS THROUGH PAVING, DINING FACILITIES, HYGIENE FACILITIES, AND DORMITORY QUARTERS FOR BOTH STUDENTS AND STAFF. THERE IS ALSO AN INITIATIVE TO DEVELOP A TRADE SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS TO ENTER SKILLED TRADES UPON GRADUATION.Expenses $389,349 · revenue $644,454
