Mission

The Finding Human Project uses story, theater and play to help people deepen their understanding of themselves and each other. Through story circles, hero's journey story discovery, and community story telling, we help communities re-connect, combat isolation, and create safe environments for collaboration in our collective stories.

Program accomplishments

  • This is Finding Human Project's (FHP) first year as a 501(c)3 and utilized this year to build programming. Workshops were the predominate focus of the organization. FHP ran 5 free workshops in a variety of places, providing opportunities for participants to reconnect with their community and themselves. FHP is entirely volunteer run in the year 2024 and the programs were provided in kind.
    Expenses $25
  • Hope in River City is a fully devised theater production that is telling the story of Camp Hope, the largest homeless encampment in America during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The theater production is built in a series of vignettes, which have the capacity to provide mobile theater opportunities for the community Finding Human Project serves. The first vignette "See Me" was performed locally by volunteers in donated spaces with donated time and materials.
