Mission
We are providing a safe haven for pups in need. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and partner with national rescues to transport our pups out of Texas for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We work with local animal control officers to prevent euthanasia when their space is full as well as helping community members that find injured or stray dogs and accidental litters (with the exception they spay/neuter the parents of the litter).
Program accomplishments
- Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and partner with national rescues to transport our pups out of Texas for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We work with local animal control officers to prevent euthanasia when their space is full as well as helping community members that find injured or stray dogs and accidental litters (with the exception they spay/neuter the parents of the litter). We have two programs at present; rescue and rehabilitation, followed by transporting dogs outside of Texas. We are a foster based rescue, which means when we have a foster that has the space, we are able to take dogs in to our rescue. We get the veterinary care to get them healthy, including testing, treatments, and preventatives. When we have near expiring preventatives and vaccinations that we do not have dogs in our rescue that need them, we give them to dogs still in animal control's care to help improve their health and quality of life. We feed and provide shelter, safety, and comfort for dogs that we save until we can organize a transportation to a partner rescue out of state. Expenses shown include the supplies we use for everyday necessities including food, cleaning products, pee pads, dog cots, bowls, dog diapers, treats, and toys.Expenses $4,943
- Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and partner with national rescues to transport our pups out of Texas for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We network the dogs that we save to out of state no-kill rescue partners that have fosters, facilities, or adopters waiting for our dogs. Transportation and vetting costs are our highest expenses and almost all our individual donations we receive go towards saving as many lives as possible. In 2024 we were able to save 347 dogs with only 3 fosters. We have since grown our fosters to 4 regular fosters and looking to grow that number. The transport program consists of gas to and from transport, our own one-off transports, and transport partner costs.Expenses $2,958
