HUMANE SOCIETY OF CENTRAL OREGON (HSCO) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES CARE FOR LOST, SURRENDERED, AND ABANDONED COMPANION ANIMALS THROUGHOUT CENTRAL OREGON. HSCO PROVIDES HOLISTIC AND COMPASSIONATE CARE FOR EVERY ANIMAL ENTERING OUR SHELTER. THIS INCLUDES COMPREHENSIVE VETERINARY CARE, BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT, ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES, AND INDIVIDUALIZED CARE FOR EACH ANIMAL'S NEEDS. HSCO ALSO OFFERS PROACTIVE RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY THAT PREVENT ANIMALS FROM HAVING TO COME TO THE SHELTER, LIKE ACCESSIBLE SPAY/NEUTER AND VACCINE SERVICES, AND FREE PET FOOD. WE PARTNER WITH COUNTY AND CITY GOVERNMENTS TO OFFER HUMANE SHELTER SERVICES FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND ARE THE ONLY SHELTER IN THE ENTIRE CENTRAL OREGON REGION THAT OFFERS REGULAR OWNER SURRENDER SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY.
