La Brega advances the well-being of Puerto Rican communities by providing educational programs, community training, and capacity-building support that strengthen civic participation, promote social and economic resilience, and empower grassroots organizations.
Program accomplishments
- LBYF formed important partnership on the ground in New York, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania to organize the Diaspora for actions related to our partnership with Furia. Furia is a legal advocacy organization in Puerto Rico that is fighting to protect important environmental resources and push back against land theft and development on nature preserves and waterways.Expenses $169,460
