Mission
Randolph County Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs mission is to inform local youth about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse while highlighting local outdoor recreation opportunities through experiential education at an annual free youth event that includes various tabling agencies and organizations, feature attractions and door prizes. The event also includes concessions.
Program accomplishments
- The Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs 2025 event on Saturday, May 10 was very successful. Approximately 600 local youth attended (totaling over 1,000 when you count adults.) The event included approximately 30 volunteers, and included 25 tabling agencies and 5 feature attractions.
