Mission
Provide financial support to capable financially underprivileged students in India to complete their studies. Studies can be for under- graduate, post-graduate, preparation for competitive exams or vocational training.
Program accomplishments
- Awarded 311 scholarships in 2025 for higher education of the underprivileged students in India. Approximately 20% of the proceeds from Arya Pragati scholarships were allocated for the Balwaadi project. 48 more units were started in 2025, bringing the total to 83 Balwaadis. This project nurtures young children by providing foundational education, values-based learning,and school readiness.It empowers youth-particularly young women-from rural and tribal communities by training them as Balwaadi teachers. The honorarium and practical experience support their career aspirations, higher studies, and financial independence.Expenses $138,000
