Mission
Bilal Ahlel Khery is committed to improving livelihoods and fostering sustainable development in Ethiopia. We strive to enhance food security, education access, child protection, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), social services, women's empowerment, and emergency aid response, ensuring lasting positive impacts on communities in need.
Program accomplishments
- Feeding Program - Conducted in Ethiopia in collaboration with Babul Kheyr, a local nonprofit organization, to provide food assistance to more than 9000 needy families, children and elderlies. Contributions were used to support food distribution efforts and ensure aid reached the intended beneficiaries.Expenses $50,858
- Back to School Project - Implemented in Ethiopia to support educational access by distributing backpacks and essential school supplies to approximately 15o children, helping improve school readiness and reduce financial barriers for low-income families.Expenses $6,049
- Self-Sufficiency program - Implemented in Ethiopia to promote economic self -sufficiency by supporting approximately eight women through small-scale income generating activities, including small retail shops and fruit, vegetable and juice stands. Program resources were used to help participants establish sustainable sources of income and improve financial independence.Expenses $20,295
- Public Sanitation Program - Implemented in Ethiopia to improve sanitation and public health through the construction and maintenance of a community public toilet facility.
