Mission
Promote and preserve Romanian hertitage
Program accomplishments
- Festival of Nations Albany - Marched in parade of 24 nations dressed in Romanian folk costumes, served traditional Romanian food, adults and children performed folk dance, distributed traditional Romanian designed souvenirs and tourism information and participated in the Miss Festival of Nations. Attracted approx. 4,000 attendees.
- Ansamblul de Hora - Our community generously donated 30 hours over 10 weeks to teach traditional folk dances. Class size was 20 adults and 12 children, all of whom performed on stage at the festival.
