Mission
AT BRAVE LIKE ME, WE BELIEVE EVERY CHILD DESERVES TO LIVE WITHOUT LIMITATIONS. THAT'S WHY WE'RE BREAKING DOWN THE BARRIERS THAT ISOLATE CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX MEDICAL CONDITIONS BY PROVIDING EXPERIENCES BUILT AROUND THEIR INTERESTS AND THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.
Program accomplishments
- CONDUCTED "BRAVE FRIENDS ADVENTURE" OUTINGS WHICH CONSISTING OF AN INDOOR ROCK-CLIMBING ADVENTURE, CINCINNATI ZOO, CINCINNATI REDS GAME AND RECREATIONS OUTLET OUTINGS. RAISED FUNDS AND BUILT A MOBILE PET UNIT THAT WAS SHOWN TO OUR DONORS AT THE ANNUAL BRAVESGIVING FUND RAISING EVENT IN NOVEMBER 2024; THE MOBILE UNIT IS NOW READY TO BOOK APPOINTMENTS AT VARIOUS HOSPITALS ACROSS THE US. THE MOBILE UNIT ALLOWS CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND STAYING IN THE HOSPITAL TO VISIT WITH THEIR OWN PET. THE UNIT ALSO INCLUDES A TELEVISION WHICH CAN STREAM PICTURES OF THE CHILD'S FAVORITE PICTURES, OR THEY ARE ABLE TO LIVE STREAM WITH OTHERS. ADDITIONALLY, BEGAN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRST COMMUNITY DOG PARK BEING DONATED TO THE CITY OF WYOMING. THE DOG PARK WILL BE OPERATIONAL IN EARLY SUMMER 2025. FINALLY, CONTINUED TO GROW THE RONALD MCDONALD BOOK PURCHASES AND DONATIONS.Expenses $134,611
