- AKSHA CONVENTION: PRIMARY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION AND EDUCATION FOR SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS IN ALASKA. IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR PRIMARY MISSION OF EDUCATION FOR MEMBERS, WE PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN ALASKA FOR SLPS IN ORDER TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND IMPROVE CARE PROVIDED BY SLPS IN THE ALASKA COMMUNITY.Expenses $17,185
- STATE RELATED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ASSISTANCE IN LICENSURE OF MEMBERS: AKSHA HIRED A CONSULTANT FOR INPUT RELATED TO INTERSTATE LICENSURE, WHICH WOULD ASSIST WITH BRINGING NEW PROFESSIONALS TO THE ALASKA AREA, THUS IMPROVING SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE ALASKA COMMUNITY.
