A local playwright produced performances at the CAC, including an original work named "A Christmas Carol, the Cat". 5) Maple Valley Mural Volunteers (MVMV) A local group of mural enthusiasts met regularly to freshen up the three murals the MVCAC had painted. 6) Ten weekly Summer Concerts in the Arboretum 7) Slug Hunt The third annual Easter egg-styled hunt for clay decorated slugs. 700 people participated. 8) Monthly JC's Improv nights 9) Open Mic held monthly 10) The MVCAC collaborated with the Maple Valley Arboretum to create and install metal animal sculptures in the Children's Garden 11) The MVCAC collaborated with the City of Maple Valley to create and install a public mural at the Summit Park reminiscent of the Little Engine That Could.
