Program accomplishments

  • Performance: Mid-Columbia Mastersingers is the premier choral organization in South Eastern Washington. Founded in 1986, we are comprised of two adult community choirs and one youth choir. We strive to enrich individual lives and our community through ticketed concerts, community performances and collaborations with other arts, education, and nonprofit groups. We value inclusivity and embrace diversity. We are committed to music as a bridge across cultural, economic, and social differences, and believe that choral singing can foster understanding and serve as a catalyst for posititive change.
    Expenses $195,191
  • Youth choir: Mastersingers Youth MY Choir is comprised of a choir serving grades 4 - 6. There are no auditions and tuition is kept intentionally low to encourage participation for all. Scholarships are available to those who cannot pay. Mastersingers Youth MY Choir is focused on artistry, excellence, and education, and has a goal to foster a lifetime of singing and supporting the arts. Mastersingers youth choirs have performed at local area senior homes, Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations, and other community events.
  • Outreach: Mid-Columbia Mastersingers provides outreach and education to students and underrepresented/ underserved communities through choral singer workshops, school choral festivals, guest composer residencies, school visits, and free civic performances. We offer a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors pursuing post secondary music studies. We offer tickets to all K-12 students to encourage the opportunity to experience the transformative power of choral music.
