Mission
MUSIC WORKSHOP PROVIDES FREE, HIGH-QUALITY K-12 CURRICULUM AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES THAT PROMOTE CREATIVITY, CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING, AND WELL-BEING. ALL PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED AT NO COST, GIVING EDUCATORS WORLWIDE ACCESS TO TOOLS THAT STRENGTHEN STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AND CONNECTION THROUGH MUSIC.
Program accomplishments
- DURING 20242025, MUSIC WORKSHOP EXPANDED ITS REACH TO MORE THAN 17,000 SCHOOLS AND 7 MILLION STUDENTS IN 105 COUNTRIES. NEW COURSES INCLUDED THE HIP HOP COURSE, EXPLORING THE GENRES ROOTS AND GLOBAL INFLUENCE, AND THE SOUTH ASIA COURSE, CELEBRATING THE REGIONS RICH MUSICAL HERITAGE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO CREATED THE ICAN LISTEN PROGRAM, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ALL CLASSICAL RADIO AND THE INTERNATIONAL CHILDRENS ARTS NETWORK, ENCOURAGING MINDFUL LISTENING AND CONNECTION THROUGH MUSIC.MUSIC WORKSHOPS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GREW THROUGH OFFERINGS SUCH AS MUSIC LISTENING FOR WELL-BEING AND TEACHER WELL-BEING. TO FURTHER SUPPORT EDUCATORS, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED, RECORDED, AND LAUNCHED SIX FREE WEBINARS FOCUSED ON STUDENT ENGAGEMENT, CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE TEACHING, AND TEACHER WELL-BEING.GUIDED BY A NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY TEAM, MUSIC WORKSHOP CONTINUES TO INNOVATE AND EXPAND EQUITABLE ACCESS TO MUSIC-EMPOWERED EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS EVERYWHERE.Expenses $678,823 · grants $5,000 · revenue $2,753
