Mission
Keyz 2 The Future" mission is to support Black and Brown children in the Greater Bay Area facing grief from gun violence and parental loss, providing a safe space for healing, resilience, and empowerment.
Program accomplishments
- Keyz 2 the Future conducts community-based violence prevention initiatives through outreach events, workshops, and partnerships focused on reducing gun violence. The program promotes awareness, conflict resolution, and safer community practices, supporting youth and families impacted by violence.
- The organization provides creative expression programming using art, music, and storytelling as tools for healing and personal development. Participants are supported in building confidence, processing trauma, and developing positive outlets for self-expression in a safe environment.
- Keyz 2 The Future offers leadership development programming that equips Black and Brown youth with mentorship, life skills, and opportunities for civic engagement. The program fosters confidence, accountability, and pathways toward education, employment, and and community leadership.
