Program accomplishments

  • The organization led significant curriculum development initiatives aimed at strengthening hands-on learning and 21st-century skill-building across multiple states. This included the creation of a comprehensive curriculum for Grades 68 in Tamil Nadu and a parallel curriculum for Grade 9 learners in Odisha. Additionally, the organization developed an interactive hands-on childrens book designed for Grades 59, enabling students to engage in at-home making activities tied to key learning outcomes and skill milestones. These materials collectively aim to expand access to high-quality experiential learning resources. Expenses for curriculum design and development were incurred as part of program service activities.

This digital tool enhances program scalability and enables continuous, data-driven improvement of instructional practices.

Through this program, MakerGhat incubated 10 fellows, providing a structured series of masterclasses and workshops that guided participants through ideation, business model development, prototyping, pitching, and early-stage fundraising. As a result, more than half of the cohorts innovations are currently undergoing the patenting process.
