Program accomplishments

  • Haiti mission - Supported 315 students and their families for four schools in the rural area of Haiti near Lascahobas. We contributed to the salaries of 17 staff (teachers and principals). Funds also supported the tuition for 100 children to attend other schools. Due to the escalated gang violence and threats to the children, school was cancelled for much of the year and funds provided food for over 200 families and many people fleeing into the area from surrounding villages.
    grants $25,000
  • In Honduras we completed 3 medical mission trips. We provided 170 water filters to provide clean water to 680 families or approximately 4200 people. We provided money for the continued repairs and refurbishment of 5 churches that serve over 390 people. We administered 222 eye exams and distributed glasses and eye drops as needed. 310 patients were seen and treated by a doctor or nurse, and prescribed medication.
    Expenses $26,982 · grants $6,000
  • Cuba Traveled to Cuba four times to deliver necessary medical supplies, food and clothing. Our program provided food, medicine, and necessary supplies for people in the most distant communities of the city and the most vulnerable people and families in 4 parishes. The money is used for fuel, to travel 750 miles per month to serve about 400 people in remote communities with liturgy, sacraments, and catechesis. Thirty of the most needy families receive food parcels each month and 20 vulnerable elderly receive breakfast and a social hour each Sunday. In 2025, 300 people received eye exams and were provided with eyeglasses. Shipped 12 boxes of food weighing over 700 pounds to Cuba as their food situation worsened at the end of 2025.
    Expenses $2,375 · grants $15,600
