Mission

Intellectual property (IP) drives society forward, because only well-protected innovations earn the investments required for success in the global economy. Yet significant uncertainty exists in the way IP is created, protected and enabled. There is a need to bring faith in IP systems to inspire and finance new decades of creativity. The Ohio Intellectual Property Alliance (OHIPA) non-profit has a mission to help Ohio become a much better IP ecosystem for the benefit of all Ohio citizens.

  • The Ohio IP Alliance was formed and has immediately attracted the top organizations in the State of Ohio to join as board members. The Cleveland Clinic, Nationwide Children's Hospital, University Hospitals, corporations, service providers, educators and venture capitalists have all joined the board.
