Mission

Iowa Rugby Foundation is a nonprofit organization of alumni, friends and family in support of the Iowa Men's Rugby Club, as well as youth, collegiate, & senior rugby in Iowa.

990-EZ for the year ended October 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • In our last fiscal year the Iowa Rugby Foundation was able to support rugby in Iowa in several ways. The foundation provided funding for travel for rugby teams going to regional and national tournaments. The foundation covered facilities expenses for high-school all-star team practices. We provided monetary support for high school rugby clubs in Iowa. The foundation's members were instrumental in the formation of a new high school rugby club in Iowa City. The foundation was able to secure a national tournament last spring which was held in Iowa City, and provided significant logistical support for the tournament organizers. The foundation also hosted a summer seven-a-side tournament that brought many regional teams to Iowa for our one-day tournament.
