Program accomplishments

  • During 2025, Little Bit of Good provided workshops, cohort-based learning, and educational resources to nonprofit leaders on topics including grant writing, fundraising, artificial intelligence, organizational strategy, budgeting, data and evaluation, storytelling, and long-term sustainability. The organization also launched its first out-of-state cohort in Vancouver, Washington, expanding its capacity-building services beyond Central Texas. Two documented workshop topics received a combined 12 post-session survey responses. All respondents rated their overall experience either 4 or 5 out of 5. By the end of 2025, Little Bit of Good had engaged more than 120 nonprofit organizations since its founding. Additionally, 100% of the organizations participating in its inaugural accelerator cohort subsequently received grant funding. The long-term objective of this program is to equip nonprofit leaders with the knowledge, tools, relationships, and organizational systems needed to sustain and expand their community impact. During 2025, Little Bit of Good provided customized consulting, assessments, advisory meetings, strategic planning, board development, fundraising planning, program design, and evaluation support to nonprofit organizations. Assistance was delivered through individualized meetings, facilitated planning sessions, organizational assessments, written recommendations, templates, and strategic tools. Services helped participating organizations clarify priorities, strengthen governance and board engagement, improve fundraising and financial planning, develop measurable goals, and build more effective organizational systems. Little Bit of Good also provided selected services on a pro bono or reduced-cost basis to increase access for organizations with limited resources. The long-term objective of this program is to help nonprofit organizations establish the leadership, operational, financial, and evaluation infrastructure necessary to remain effective and sustainable. During 2025, Little Bit of Good expanded access to nonprofit resources through community learning events, conference participation, strategic partnerships, peer connections, and collaborative initiatives with nonprofit organizations, funders, and community institutions. The organization also established its first fiscal sponsorship relationship, providing an emerging charitable project with administrative and financial infrastructure to support its community-serving activities. These activities increased nonprofit leaders' access to information, professional relationships, collaborative opportunities, and resources that may otherwise be difficult for smaller or historically underfunded organizations to obtain. The long-term objective of this program is to build a stronger and more equitable nonprofit ecosystem in which community-based organizations have access to the infrastructure, partnerships, and resources required to advance their charitable missions.
