Mission
THE MISSION OF THE COLIMA PASCO COLLABORATION AND FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION IS TO FOSTER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CITY OF PASCO IN WASHINGTON STATE AND THE STATE OF COLIMA IN MEXICO. THOUSANDS OF PASCO'S RESIDENTS HAVE TIES TO COLIMA AND THE SURROUNDING REGION AND DIGNITARIES PARTICIPATE IN VISITS.
Program accomplishments
- In 2025, the Colima Pasco Collaboration and Friendship Association interfaced with local community organizations and hosted the Universidad Pedagogica Nacional Unidad 061 (UPN) Delegation in Pasco, Washington. This tour included discussions of arts and culture; economic development and trade; education; and health and wellness. Other activities in 2025 included a relationship with a regional tribe developing a major facility in the Pasco area. COPA also provided public outreach about the organization at the regional county fair and other community events.Expenses $17,256
