Mission

Quigg Creations is organized to promote the performing arts through the production and presentation of theatrical performances for the benefit of the general public. We offer opportunities for individuals of all ages to develop skills in the dramatic arts through classes workshops and community outreach. Our goal is to foster widespread appreciation of theater as a vital cultural resource. We qualify as a public charity under section 509a2 as we primarily receive our support from program service revenue such as tuition and ticket sales rather than investment income or large donations.

Program accomplishments

  • Quigg Creations produces 3-4 full-length theatrical productions per year primarily for youth and teen performers. Program service revenue such as member tuition covers costs related to show licensing venue rental costumes sets and technical needs. These productions typically operate at a deficit which is offset by ticket and concession sales during performance weekends. Additional programming includes technique focused theater classes and seasonal camps that teach acting stagecraft and related skills. While these programs operate at lower costs any surplus is reinvested into supporting our mission and providing scholarships or equipment. These activities represent our primary program service expenses.
