Mission
THE MISSION OF THE CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY OF LOGAN IS (1) TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY CHAMBER MUSIC PERFORMANCES IN A FIVE-CONCERT SERIES TO UTAH AUDIENCES AT AFFORDABLE PRICES, AND (2) TO PROVIDE A LINK BETWEEN OUR COMMUNITY AND CHAMBER MUSIC PROFESSIONALS THROUGH COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS.
Program accomplishments
- CMSL PRESENTED CONCERTS BY FIVE CHAMBER MUSIC ENSEMBLES. EACH ENSEMBLE CONDUCTED A MASTER CLASS WITH YOUNG ADULT MUSIC STUDENTS. IN ADDITION TO A MASTER CLASS, ONE ENSEMBLE ENGAGED IN LECTURE-DEMONSTRATIONS WITH ORCHESTRA STUDENTS AT 2 LOCAL SCHOOLS, JOINED IN REHERASAL AND CONCERT WITH ORCHESTRA STUDENTS AT 3 LOCAL MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOLS, AND PRESENTED A SHORT CONCERT WITH Q&A WITH SENIOR ADULT STRING MUSICIANS AND HOME SCHOOLING FAMILIES.Expenses $79,164 · grants $117,290
