THE UTAH TRUCKING ASSOCIATION (UTA) IS A NON-PROFIT TRADE ASSOCIATION IN THE STATE OF UTAH. UTA IS A COMPANY MEMBER ORGANIZATION REPRESENTING LOCAL AND NATIONAL TRUCKING COMPANIES AS WELL AS SUPPLIERS. THE UTA CLASSIFIES TRUCKING COMPANIES AS CARRIERS AND SUPPLIERS AS ALLIED MEMBERS. UTA IS GOVERNED BY OFFICERS, AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, AND A BOARD OF DIRECTORS. UTA REPRESENTS THE INDUSTRY WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND THE UTAH STATE LEGISLATURE. UTA PROVIDES REGULATORY SEMINARS, PUBLICATIONS, AND GENERAL MEETINGS FOR MEMBERS.
