Program accomplishments

  • Café - Over the past year, we have supported individuals in entering and sustaining treatment, securing stable housing, accessing onsite medical and behavioral health services, reconnecting with family members, and gaining employment. Participants consistently report increased hope, improved emotional stability, and stronger community connection because of their involvement in our community space. Specifically, we provided 4,087 meals, 213 bus tickets and 66 hygiene kits in addition to providing a safe community space for 174 individuals on a regular basis.
    Expenses $302,941
  • SAGA- SAGA is a 9-month, 3-phase initiative which provides long-term, community-centered support, focusing on utilizing evidenced-based skills to assist adults from all walks of life who are looking to promote long-term stability and change. The SAGA program has assisted 51 participants; conducting 570 hours of groups, and 340 hours of one-on-one coaching. Within the SAGA census, 31% are PPW and 74% have a history of substance use.

  • CORE - Couve Opiate Response Effort (CORE) engages with those struggling with opiate use and living outside in downtown Vancouver. With CORE, we have expanded our reach by getting Naloxone into the hands of active users and those engaging with them, removed barriers for those on fentanyl seeking Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT), and provided on-going case management and support for people to remain fentanyl-free. We have distributed over 300 doses of Naloxone in our custom Narcan kits, that are durable and refillable. In 2025, CORE supported 20 individuals with daily rides to and from their MAT appointments along with providing accountability and recovery support.
    Expenses $67,031
  • Room for Change is drop-in style system navigation and outreach support developing data-driven solutions to end homelessness. In 2025 Room for Change provided intensive case management for 17 individuals and had over 500 contacts with individuals to provide referrals and supportive supplies. On a regular basis, Room for Change provides individualized, dignity-affirming material support during outreach and one-on-one interactions to reduce immediate barriers to survival and stability. Supports included hygiene kits and individual hygiene items, emergency survival supplies (tarps, blankets, sleeping bags, hand warmers, ponchos), food, snacks, and pet food during outreach, and bus passes for medical appointments.
