Mission

Develop permanent alternative housing for people that have limited earning ability and limited capacity for income growth. Provide referrals to other agencies or funding for individuals to prevent or overcome their housing instability.

Program accomplishments

  • In 2023 our organization was able to provide referrals to operating housing and shelter programs in our community to over 100 people that contacted us for help. We provided a micro grant for rental assistance to one individual in the amount of $300. Our development of an alternative housing village will be a multiyear effort to provide a tiny home village for limited income veterans, disabled and elderly individuals to prevent their homelessness. In 2023, we continued our search for land, refined plans for a 288 sq ft tiny home and worked on strategies to get local government approval of our small footprint homes.
