Program accomplishments

  • THE PEAKS, LOCATED IN FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA, IS DISTINGUISHED BY ITS STRONG COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, PARTICULARLY THROUGH ITS CONNECTIONS WITH THE MUSEUM OF NORTHERN ARIZONA AND FLAGSTAFF MEDICAL CENTER. THE PEAKS OFFERS A RANGE OF INTERGENERATIONAL ACTIVITIES THAT BENEFIT BOTH ITS RESIDENTS AND LOCAL CHILDREN, FOSTERING ENGAGEMENT ACROSS GENERATIONS. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE INDEPENDENT LIVING, ASSISTED LIVING, PROGRESSIVE MEMORY CARE, REHABILITATION, LONG-TERM CARE, AND SKILLED NURSING, ALLOWING RESIDENTS TO "AGE IN PLACE." RESIDENTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO AGE IN PLACE AND CONTINUE TO RECEIVE PERSONALIZED SERVICES THAT MEET THEIR CARE NEEDS. THE PEAKS WAS DEVELOPED THROUGH A NONPROFIT PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN INTERGENERATIONAL LIVING AND HEALTH CARE AND NORTHERN ARIZONA HEALTHCARE. EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024, THE GOODMAN FAMILY OPERATING FOUNDATION ACQUIRED 50% OWNERSHIP FROM INTERGENERATIONAL LIVING AND HEALTH CARE. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2024, THE PEAKS PARTICIPATED IN VARIOUS CHARITABLE INITIATIVES, INCLUDING PROVIDING DISCOUNTED CARE THROUGH THE ARIZONA STATE MEDICAID PROGRAM AND INDIAN HEALTH SERVICES. ON AVERAGE, OUR SKILLED NURSING FACILITY ACCOMMODATED 21 MEDICAID PATIENTS DAILY, AND OUR LODGE AVERAGED 15 RESIDENTS DAILY RESULTING IN $352,827 IN DISCOUNTED CARE FOR ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS DURING 2024.
