Mission
Protect taxpayers from unnecssary taxes and promote the efficent use of taxpayers dollars. Promote government which is open and accountable to the state's taxpayers. Educate Arizona's taxpayers about important fiscal issues.
Program accomplishments
- Research/Newsletter - Conducts research on state/local government fiscal issues and publish findings in a newsletter issued ten times yearly with distribution of approximately 1700 persons and news media.Expenses $170,433
- Legislation - Reviews bills filed at state legislature, analyze those that affect contitutional levy and expenditure limits and reports findings to members and legislature through the newsletter and reports.Expenses $43,985
- Local government - Annually review proposed budgets to insure levy limits and sound budget practices are followed. All taxpayers benefit.Expenses $89,759
