Mission

The specific purpose of the Corporation is to treat the underserved with the highest quality of dentistry, while educating other practitioners with ideal treatment protocols: organized under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of California ("California Nonprofit Corporation Law") for charitable purposes.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2021

Program accomplishments

  • The Corporation executes routine preventive maintenance and adequate service intervals to promote an efficient retrofitting into a mobile dental clinic. The Corporation outsources labor to mechanics, technicians, and engineers when planning conversions, remodeling, and maintenance. In the 2021 tax year, the Corporation's officers and director personally covered all expenses regarding this Program Service Accomplishment.
  • Recognizing oral health fairs can occur prior to the successful retrofitting of the mobile dental clinic, the Corporation launched its own program to survey the oral health needs of its future patients in the Los Angeles community. Future activities under this program service accomplishment can include clinical encounters and evidence-based paradigm shifting. Given that our operative-restorative delivery system has been tried and proven over the last one hundred years of modern dentistry, any results or findings from our encounters will be mostly observational in nature. Alas, any future publications will possess the respective level of evidence. Successfully executing oral health fairs requires brick-and-mortar dental offices to accept the Corporation's referrals, so we initiated correspondence with local dental offices and clinics. Our intention for holding oral health fairs is to render a comprehensive depth of dental services, including Preventive Dental Services (i.e. screenings, oral evaluations, oral hygiene instructions, nutrition counseling, healthy lifestyle modifications, occlusal analyses, and second opinions for those coming to us having already been diagnosed by an outside dentist). All of our renderable services are free so if future patients present with the intention to use their insurance or MediCal coverage, then we will work closely with them to help navigate to the right dental clinic. If and when patients present with an urgent dentoalveolar need, then we are prepared to refer them to an adequate place of care, with an utmost sense of professionalism. In the 2021 tax year, the officers of the Corporation personally covered the expenses of these accomplishments.
  • In the 2021 tax year, the Corporation focused primarily on obtaining tax-exempt status. The Board plans Community Outreach activities with differing members of the Los Angeles community to further clinical goals and initiate operations. All expenses relating to aliments and event planning were also personally covered by the officers of the Corporation.
