Mission

CHRISTIAN VETERINARY MISSION (CVM) SERVES TO CHALLENGE, EMPOWER AND FACILITATE VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS TO SERVE OTHERS, LIVING OUT THEIR CHRISTIAN FAITH THROUGH LONG TERM MISSIONS, SHORT TERM MISSIONS, PROFESSIONAL MINISTRY, AFFILIATE MINISTRY AND TRAINING PROGRAMS.

Program accomplishments

  • SEE SCHEDULE O FOR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
    Expenses $4,861,830
  • SEE SCHEDULE O FOR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
    Expenses $1,262,034 · revenue $38,370
  • SEE SCHEDULE O FOR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
    Expenses $1,059,997
  • THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND SPIRITUAL WELLNESS (PDSW) DEPARTMENT PRIORITIZED PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE (1) WORKFORCE EDUCATION AND GROWTH, AND (2) HOLISTIC WELLNESS OF CVM SUPPORTERS (THOSE ENGAGED IN PRAYER, GIVING, AND SERVICE) AND CVM STAFF (BOTH CVM USA AND INTERNATIONAL FIELD WORKERS). A SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT IN FY25 WAS THE TRANSITION OF THE CVM ELEARNING PLATFORM FROM LEARNUPON TO MOODLE BY GROW2SERVE. THE ELEARNING PLATFORM HAS MORE THAN 4000 USERS WITH 83 COURSES HOSTED. THE NEW PLATFORM, MOODLE, IS SIMPLER FOR THE END-USER TO LEARN AND FOR THE STAFF TO UPLOAD AND MANAGE MATERIALS. IT IS ALSO MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE, WHICH WAS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE. MOODLE WAS LAUNCHED IN LATE FY25. A SECOND MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT WAS THE ENRICHMENT OF THE CVM WELLBEING PROGRAM. SHORT-TERM MISSION LEADERS RECEIVED TRAINING FOR THEIR TEAM MEMBERS TO WRITE THEIR PERSONAL TESTIMONIES AND TO SHARE THEM. THE TRAINING WAS RECORDED AND POSTED ON THE CVM ELEARNING PLATFORM TO EQUIP OTHER MINISTRY LEADERS WITH THIS VALUABLE EVANGELISM RESOURCE. WELLBEING ALSO LAUNCHED A 7-MONTH RE:GENERATION COURSE THAT MET WEEKLY ONLINE WITH 18 PARTICIPANTS COMPLETING THE COURSE MATERIALS. THE COURSE CULMINATED IN A FACE-TO-FACE COMMENCEMENT HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SECOND CVM SPIRITUAL RETREAT IN THE SPRING. THE COURSE AND DUAL RETREAT WERE GREAT SUCCESSES AND WILL BE REPEATED IN FY26. A THIRD MAJOR FY25 ACHIEVEMENT WAS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CVM PODCAST, TWO ROADS CROSSING. THIS PODCAST EXPLORES THE INTERSECTION OF FAITH AND VETERINARY MEDICINE BY SHARING INTERVIEWS WITH SPEAKERS WHO ENGAGE IN THESE AREAS IN DIFFERENT CAPACITIES. WE HOSTED OUR 100TH EPISODE THIS YEAR, AND PODCAST GREW BY ABOUT 1,515 VIEWS PER MONTH. OUR MAJOR PLATFORMS ARE:CVMAPP (104), APPLE (451), SPOTIFY (126), RUMBLE (762), YOUTUBE(72). FAITHFUL SUBSCRIBERS INCREASED FROM 466 TO 662. MOVING FORWARD INTO FY26, THE PROGRAMS WITHIN PDSW WILL MIGRATE TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS. THE ELEARNING PLATFORM WILL MOVE TO THE MISSIONS DEPARTMENT.
