TO PROVIDE A PUBLIC SERVICE ON A NON-PARTISAN BASIS TO VERIFY THE INTEGRITY AND AUTHENTICITY OF TEXT MESSAGES AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS RELATED TO CAMPAIGNS AND ELECTIONS IN ORDER TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ENSURE PUBLIC CONFIDENCE IN AMERICAN ELECTIONS AND PROTECT CIVIL RIGHTS IN THE ELECTION SYSTEM.

  • CAMPAIGN VERIFY VERIFIED THE IDENTITY OF OVER 8,000 UNITED STATES CAMPAIGNS PARTIES PACs AND ADDITIONAL COMMITTEES REGISTERED WITH THE FEC OR A STATE OR LOCAL ELECTION AUTHORITY. THE IDENTITY VERIFICATION SERVICE HELPS TO PREVENT FOREIGN INFLUENCES AND DOMESTIC BAD ACTORS FROM INTERFERING WITH UNITED STATES CAMPAIGNS AND ELECTIONS USING TEXT MESSAGING SCAMS. ONLY THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN VETTED ARE PERMITTED TO SEND TEXT MESSAGES IN BULK TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC. UNVETTED ACTORS ARE BARRED FROM SENDING BULK MESSAGES THAT MAY CONTAIN ELECTION-RELATED DISINFORMATION. CONSEQUENTLY MESSAGE RECIPIENTS ARE PROTECTED FROM MISLEADING HARMFUL AND MANIPULATIVE TEXT MESSAGES. CAMPAIGN VERIFYS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE TO ALL TAX-EXEMPT GROUPS OPERATING UNDER SECTION 527 OF THE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE CODE ON AN EQUAL BASIS WITH NO FAVORITISM OR BIAS. CAMPAIGN VERIFY IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE CONTENT OF AN ENTITYS TEXT MESSAGES AND SHOWS NO BIAS IN CONTENT OR STRUCTURE WITH RESPECT TO THE VIEWS OF THE MESSAGE SENDER. PROTECTING THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS AND PRESERVING TRUST IN OUR NATIONS ELECTIONS HAS THE BROAD EFFECT OF BENEFITING ALL CITIZENS AND NOT JUST ONE CLASS OR PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL OR PARTY. THE PRIMARY BENEFICIARY OF CAMPAIGN VERIFYS SERVICES IS THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND UNITED STATES CITIZENS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS.
