Mission

To offer a joyful, Finnish-inspired education; to teach equity; and to be a village of support to our families.

990 for the year ended June 30, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • EDUCATION - During the year, the organization operated an integrated educational program designed to support both academic learning and student well-being. The core of the organizations work was the delivery of primary classroom education, which accounted for the majority of program spending and activity.
    Expenses $438,441
  • FOREST SCHOOL - While forest school is becoming a movement for preschools and kindergartens in America, it is common to find it a class for all grades in Europe. The benefits for children having outside time has long been expounded on by the experts and we are firm believers in fresh air and play time. However, forest school is more than just going outside for some play time. It takes learning outdoors into nature where students can hike trails, do obstacle courses, learn survival skills (or just camping ones), care for and study animals, plants and the world around them and do those messy crafts we dont want indoors. Children go out in all weather as long as it is safe to do so.
    Expenses $8,000
  • VILLAGE LIFE - A community-building program that brings families, students, and staff together through events designed to strengthen relationships and foster a connected school community.
    Expenses $4,000
  • HEALTHY SNACK INITIATIVE - Through this program, fresh fruits and vegetables were made available to all students during the school day on demand, ensuring that students had access to nutritious food.
    Expenses $3,500
