Mission
The Asian Mental Health Collective fosters healing, resilience and connection in Asian communities in the US through culturally-informed clinical services, virtual peer support spaces, and support for Asian mental health providers.
Program accomplishments
- AMHCs therapy funds program offered 8 sessions of therapy for free to over 150 individuals in need, funding over 1,146 hours of culturally responsive therapy. The therapist directory has over 4200 licensed Asian therapists, serving all 50 states, DC and US territories.Expenses $226,005
- AMHC builds wide-reaching virtual community spaces to foster conversation, connection, and peer support around mental health. Led by Asian mental health professionals, Community Support Groups offer peer connection and guidance for the general public. Over 200 people attended support groups totalling 50 hours of peer support. AMHCs online discussion forum, Subtle Asian Mental Health, has over 61,000 members and provides a unique platform for discussing Asian mental health, validating cultural experiences, and sharing resources.Expenses $441,611
