Mission
The charitable purpose of Sonoma Childrens Creative & Performing include:To build sustainable communities by empowering children to be creative. Sonoma Children's Creative & Performing Arts program began 25 years ago as a small family run theater program know as BBK! BBK became a staple for youth in Sonoma. Sarah Duran' LeVine created a space where kids can take their love for music and dance further and built an incredible program of creative arts and summer camps as well. These 2 programs are now being merged together to create this wonderful non profit.
Program accomplishments
- The charitable purposes of Sonoma Childrens Creative Performing Arts is a program where kids of all ages come together to experience the magic of being in a theater community. We have taught thousands of children and with each child we meet, we are reminded again of just how important the arts are in each child's life. It is not just important, it is vital. Moving forward, we are focused on continuing to bring theater arts programs to Sonoma in a big way while constantly trying to reach new audiences of children who might not have the opportunity to participate in programs like ours through our new Outreach program.Expenses $185,936
