TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Program accomplishments
- CONDUCTED TRAINING EVENTS WHICH ALLOWED US TO TRAIN 400 PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICERS NATIONALLY, INCLUDING ESTABLISHED PUBLIC SAFETY UAS TEAMS AS WELL AS AGENCIES WITH A DESIRE TO START PUBLIC SAFETY UAS PROGRAMS. TRAINING EVENTS WERE SPLIT BETWEEN FOUR-DAY CONFERENCES AND SMALLER REGIONAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. IN ADDITION TO THE CLASSROOM PORTIONS, EVENTS ALSO INCLUDED PRACTICAL SCENARIO-BASED APPLICATIONS WHERE PILOTS APPLIED WHAT THEY LEARNED TO REAL-WORLD SITUATIONS. LEDA PARTNERED WITH DRONE MANUFACTURERS, SOFTWARE COMPAINIES AND OTHER VENDORS TO BRING PRODUCT DEMOS TO THE EVENTS WHEN POSSIBLE, SO MEMBERS RECEIVED HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH TECHNOLOGY THAT WILL PUSH THEIR PROGRAMS FORWARD.Expenses $372,454 · revenue $507,887
